Terence Conran

How to make a speech more exciting?
So, I have to give a speech on the designer Terence Conran. Omg he so bloody boring! Seriously i need help. I want to spice it up a bit, make it funny. HELP!
Thanks
With any speech, spice and fun come in last, get your structure and style right first and those two will follow.
- So first bit should be a brief description of who TC is now.
- Then talk about his early years
- Use Wikipedia, find a turning point for this life / important event etc.
- Conclude it.
Tips:
- use alliteration (words beginning with the same sound)
- use lists of 3
eg:
“Terence Conran is a leading light in the world’s of fashion, food and furniture.”
Humour – this depends on your audience. I’m making a guess here but i’m thinking British teenager. Make humourous comparisons.
“TC is seen by many middle-class types as a style guru but to teenagers like us Habitat is as out-of-date and out-of-reach as the post war design and convention Sir Terence fought against himself.”
PS type “Terence Conran quotes” into Google. Theres some goodies there which are a good starting point when talk about someone.
