Side Plate

How do you remove the side plate?

from a S&W revolver.I don’t want to pry it.I know about putting the hammer block in correctly and about using the proper type of screw driver.I’m not being pissy here but it doesn’t matter why I’m removing it

Once all the screws are out tap the butt of the frame on your workbench. You’ll want the sideplate side facing generally downward while you do this. The plate will just fall off after a few taps.
