trying to find the answer -how can i put photographs onto cups and saucers.plates ext.?

i have seen in shops photographs on cups saucers ext.how is this done? can it be done at home.if so what would i need.so that the photo on the cup ext can be washed .and will stay on the cup.

All the online photo shops do them eg www.photobox.co.uk, truprint.co.uk and kodak.co.uk. You upload a photo onto their site or send it in and they do all the work and send it back. You might be able to do it at home. You would have to buy a decent colour printer and transfer paper. Its proably a lot easier and cheaper to get it done for you.
