Salad Plate

Is it normal to have a salad with breakfast in Cyprus?
We were staying with a friend from Cyprus and for breakfast she made everyone a fried egg (over hard), some Halloumi cheese, some salad, and multi grain toast with butter. It was shocking to see salad on my breakfast plate, but the meal was delicious. I was wondering, is it common to have salad with breakfast in Cyprus?
let me tell you in the australian out back they eat a thing called the bushmans breakfast, that consits of . ..agood portion of porter house steak…2 eggs…suasage tomatoes bacon….and lamb chops..or local kangaroo…. they h..
ave that at 6 am…..becase the work they do calls for it its is very tough work t hey do the STOCKMEN ..followed by pancakes or austrlian crumpets with honey//and plenty tea or coffe..
NOW USAALY I HAVE JUST VEGEMITE TOAST OR SOME THING ON TOAST LIKE TOMATOES OR AVOCADO…OR EVEN COTTAGE CHESS …
BUT WHEN I WAS IN GREECE ITS LIKE WHAT AIRPOLE SAYS ..I HAD FOR BREAKFAST…A DOZEN FRESH FIGS YOGURT….TOMATOES ..WITH OLIVE OIL AND RIGANI..SOME FETA CHEES.. AND A LARGE GREEK COFFE…IT WAS DELICIOUS ..
SO I WOULD NOT SAY TIS UNCOMON TO SERVE SALAD…. AT BREAFAST BUT …ITS A LOCAL….A LA CATRE……WHAT EVER THERE IS…..AT LEAST IT WAS FRESH AND TASTY…
but yes ..it would be strange to go to a resturant or hotel and order a salad early int he moring..i suppose it up tot he western diet…and the individual.
