Rose Dessert

can someone help me plan this dessert?

I am planning a dessert which consists of cherry frangipane tart and two other components. So far I was thinking of strawberry sorbet and rose-scented cream. Would It be better if I used cherry sorbet and almond cream instead, to compliment the tart, or stick with my original idea. Any suggestions appreciated.

Conventionally, the cherry-almond combo would be delicious.

The strawberry-rose cream combo sounds intriguing though I’m not sure how well it would enhance the flavor of the cherry tart. I had a strawberry key lime pie with rose scented creme and it was outstanding, even though at first blush it seemed strange.

Try it and see! It might not work but if it does it would be an unexpected great twist. Love to see when people think outside convention now and then.

Perhaps if you do go that route you could post how it turned out?
