Any tips on buying a pot with a lid?

I want a 2-quart pot for making side dishes for two or 3 people…any tips on what I should look for?

hunter is right,but also make sure the copper clad is under steel.i mean steel ,copper and then steel,no copper showing,all sandwiched in between steel.make sure the entire thing can go in oven.thick bottom too,tight lid
