How to stick a suction cup to wood laminate?

I bought a new medicine cabinet that is laminated particle board (pretty sure) and I bought a couple of suction cup razor holders to use for our toothbrushes so they are not out in the open. I tried a spray adhesive but the hooks keep falling down. Any ideas?
