Armani Onde Collection: Trifecta of Eastern-Inspired Fragrances

Giorgio Armani created a wonderful synergy of the east that bespeaks the traditional scents and priceless essential oils that the region is known for. The Armani Onde Collection is an olfactory indulgence of the east. Each fragrance is inspired by the exquisite femininity conveyed by women in Asia and the Middle East in the earlier years. Onde Mystere is a spicy oriental fragrance that features musk, amber, benzoin, rose, vanilla and spices. This is comparable to the Middle Eastern scented oils that project a potent composition of musky woods. You’ll pick up an overwhelming rush of spice at the top notes. There’s also that distinct warmth that permeates as it slowly unfolds to a garden full of dewy roses. Other notes mingle at the base giving it more depth and a more luxurious character. The vanilla and amber elements cap it off with a tinge of sweetness that melts smoothly as it dries down. The Onde Mystere is packaged in a violet bottle designed with wave-like ripples on the surface. A red tassel decorates the neck of the black stopper.

Onde Vertige is woody-aromatic fragrance that combines faint flowers, black licorice and patchouli. The most delicate of all the Onde, Vertige is a masterpiece of flowers and faint woods – an inspiration taken from the majestic Indian empire. At the beginning, jasmine and frangipani tickles your nose with sensual sweet notes; towards the middle you’ll sense an introduction of woods, that’s the licorice gradually embracing the florals with its pungent spice. The base introduces patchouli to bring out a woodsy essence. Vertige is housed in a light pink decant with vertical ripples sculpted on the bottle. This time, an orange-colored tassel hugs the neck of the black cap.

Onde Xtase is an oriental floral perfume inspired by the Japanese geishas. Seductive, graceful and comforting, Xtase adapts these qualities to form a natural and simplistic fragrance. The notes are mimosa flowers, Egyptian jasmine, daffodil, pink pepper, Sicilian bergamot, moss and sesame. Like the other fragrances in the Onde collection, Xtase is housed in a green bottle designed with criss-cross lines embossed on the surface. A green tassel is wrapped around the black cap.
