How can a milkman measure exactly one pint out of a 5 pint and a 3 pint milk jug? there r NO measurments on the jars lol

Fill the 3 pint jug, pour into 5 pint jug. fill three pint jug, then pour into 5 pint jug till its full. This will leave you 1 pint.
