Is it fair that Maple Leaf will get sued?
I’m sure many of people have heard about Maple leaf and the listeria. Well, everyone knows people are going to sue. It’s an easy way to get money. But do you think it’s fair?
I understand that people are sick and some have died, but really I don’t think it’s fair. It was a mistake, an accident. I’d understand the company paying the family our of an apology. But, It pisses me off with those people who are suing for ‘mental distress’. It’s bull shit, and they shouldn’t be given a dime.

The same bacteria outbreak occurred in the US in 2002, killing about a dozen people with processed turkey meat… did that company get sued?
I agree with you – people need to get a grip on reality… stuff happens, and it could happen to anyone, anywhere. Anyone who eats raw hot dogs should know better.
