My Computer used to charge with the lid open now it only charges with the lid or the power off, whats going on?

Sometimes it charges with the lid open but most of the time no.

right click on the picture of the battery in the lower left hand corner. go to settings and change the settings to what you want. that should fix that problem, keep wandering through the settings until you find a section witch deals with the computer lid. reset them to what you like and that should fix the problem. if it does not then you have have a problem with the motherboard being displace, where when it’s open the motherboard shifts or some such small thing. i hope it isn’t because it’s never worth replacing the motherboard as far as laptops go. i hope everything turns out all right.
