Ideas for a Large Group Dinner?

This weekend my family and I are attending a large family reunion and were assigned to make dinner one night. It’s a large group (16 people) and we’d like to make something festive and creative but still simple and easy. It can’t be a pork dish as another family is preparing that the night before!
