Lady Carlyle

I need opinions on names and suggestions for more. Can you help me?
I am writing a book for myself and a play for a script writing class and I find myself in need of some names, and opinion on names I’ve already chosen. Here goes. I have a Scottish character in my book who is in need of a last name, and I don’t know if his first name of Edgar is Scottish or not. I have an English knight in my play who needs a full name, and his lady Alyson needs a last name. The knight was going to be “Sir Bennett Grayham” but I wasn’t quite sure if it fit. I also need an opinion of the name Alexander Applebaum. The character lives in America in the late 1800′s, his mother is French while his father is American. Lastly, please give me your opinion of these names:
Annabell
Lady Grace
King Harris
Queen Wenabeth
Gregory Mort the blacksmith’s apprentice
Fredrick, Angus the warrior, Rune the thief
Lady Gladys
Aldorrick the mage
Winona Cunningham
Ivan
Lorence
Annice
Nickolas Carlyle
Thank you very much for your suggestions and opinions.
Edgar doesn’t sound much like a Scottish name. You could try Elliot or Evan? As for last names, anything with a Mc or Mac in front of it always sounds like a UK-er. Sit Bennett Grayham sounds great to me. And Alexander Applebaum does, too. I like the last name Carlyle.
