Gold Trim

Would metalical gold trim be tacky?

I’m painting my room magenta, orange, lime green, and navy for an Indian vibe. Would metalic gold trim around my closet, door frame, and window be tacky?

I think it would look really nice. I just painted my whole bedroom metallic silver and it looks AWESOME.

Metallic paint is very hard to work with though. It is very unforgiving — if you make a mistake you can’t just brush over it, every stroke will make the paint darker. PRACTICE painting with it before you do your trim!
