Four Royal

help my son is four and just started pre k he’s a perfect angel at school but a royal terror at home.?

I don’t know whats got into him he’s never acted this way he’s perfectly well behaved at school but when he gets home he’s started pitching fits, hitting, and even biting.HELP i have 2 other toddlers and don’t have allot of time does anyone know of a quick easy way i can make him understand why his behavior is unacceptable.

It sounds like he is finding the transition to school a little bit challenging in terms of being away from you, and when he comes home he needs some attention from mum. With two younger siblings, this is hard to come by, so he resorts to negative attention.
I’d do two things – one – he knows what is acceptable, he does it at school – so time out/naughty step when he plays up. 4 minutes, then an apology, followed by a hug. Stick with it – it will gets worse before it gets better.
The second is to make some special time for the two of you every day. Do the toddlers nap? If they do, forget the laundry, ironing, whatever, and that is your time. If not, put them to bed earlier, and spend the time with him then. I know it isn’t easy, but it will have long term benefits for your relationship. Do you have a partner/husband available to help at any point? He can take the toddlers while you run around with the 4 year old. When he knows that he will ALWAYS get some special time with you, and that he will be put on a chair and ignored if he misbehaves, he’ll figure it out.
