Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Cup – Antique?
i have come into possession of a queen elizabeth II coronation tea cup
it has:
a picture of elizabeth II with her crown, not in profile
the royal crest with the lion and unicorn
the words “queen elizabeth, coronation, June 2, 1953, dieu et mon droit”
is made by Adderley Fine Bone Chine England (est. 1789)
on the back it says “EIIR” with a crown
it is in a basic tulip shape with gilt edging and has a scalloped handle
how much is this cup worth without the saucer, and what might be the best way to profit from it?
I’ll wager that cup is worth at least 20 pounds. A pity the saucer has disappeared or the value would surely be double that. Is it like the one in the link, perchance?
Cannonball Adderley performed live by Saxobones Durham City 29 May 2009
