Like any other decorating styles, feng shui interior design also needs to abide by a theme. The ancient Chinese say that the environment has its own chi flow. This energy primarily focused in the water and the wind element and feng shui experts say that these should be properly aligned with your possessions, your furniture and even the overall landscaping. Once you do this, you have successfully harmonized with nature’s energy flow. 

The following are just a few suggestions you can apply to your home.

- The placement of the chairs or the beds should always give you a clear view of the door entrance.

- When it comes to the positions of the desk, you need to place it in a spot where you will have the best view of the room.

- Be careful in having straight lines and sharp corners that are pointed directly to your bed.

- You should always keep things clean and avoid clutter.

- Your front yard’s roadway should be slightly curved. This is to create confusion among evils spirits which are known to only travel straight paths. This belief is practiced by most road engineers because curved roads are also known to relieve road fatigue.
