Dux Bohemia

Does anyone know a website where i might be able to find specific Royal Dux figurines?
I have a large Dux Bohemia male playing a violin and there is a lady in a pink dress with white sash that accompanies him as i recently saw them as a pair on an antiques programme.
If you want to estimate a value for your items there are variables to take into consideration. For instance, Royal Dux is a very old company, but they are also still in business. In just the last 20 years the company has made many new figures from their old molds. Pieces that are antique and/or rare because few were made may be worth more than those that are brand new or those made in large numbers. Besides age and rarity, another factor that can affect value is damage. Collectors typically prefer pieces that have no damage.
There are also fakes marked Royal Dux being sold. If you are wanting to add to your collection and are considering buying Royal Dux on the secondary market you definitely need to know how to tell the real from the fake and the new from the old.
The modern company website offers a link to this online catalog of their new items, but you’ll need to translate everything from Czech to English and good luck with making currency calculations:

Quite a few antique and vintage Royal Dux pieces listed for sale here for comparable prices:

You can also search the site by keyword and then save that search to a Wish List and ask for an email alert as soon as new pieces matching your search parameters are added to the site if a specific piece isn’t listed there now.
The Antique Trader Guide to Fakes & Reproductions book by Mark Chervenka has a section on Royal Dux marks, showing how they have changed through the years. Pages from the book are available online and may help you to be able to determine the authenticity and age of your pieces.
