Does anyone know an easy route to take to sell collectibles?

i have approx 30 Rockwell plates, royal doulton, waterford crystal and various bone china cups. i’m into a new life and have no use for any of this stuff anymore….its just taking up cupboard space.

You can take it to a local antique and collectibles dealer – this is the easiest…but they won’t give you much money and be careful, because many of these folks will just rip you off.

You can also sell them directly yourself, on ebay. The market on ebay isn’t what it has been, but you’ll be selling directly to the collectors and will get your best bucks. To see what this sort of thing would go for…create an ebay account (easy and safe) and do searches for your items in advanced searches for completed listings. This will tell you what your items have been selling for lately.

You can also advertise them on craigslist, which is free. Your pool of buyers will be much smaller than ebay, but it’s less complicated, you don’t need an account … and it’s free.
