Need help identifying what rodent is in my garden?
There are mouse like creatures in the garden, not sure what it is, can you help.
People have suggested water vole (they seem to live behind our pond), or dor mouse.
Pretty sure its not a water vole, cos the info I’ve looked at suggests these are quite large animals.
Dormouse is probably about the right size, but from what I’ve found Dormice have hairy tails.
The rodent (if it is a rodent!), is very small – probably about 5-6cm long. It is grey and the tail looks very smooth and shiny (doesn’t appear to be fury!)
Any help would be appreciated, and links to website info or photo on what you think it might be.

Sounds like a baby rat to me. Call your local pest control.
