Is this a good roller derby name?
I’m just starting out in roller derby, and obviously I need to come up with a cool name. I kind of have the nickname ‘little bear’, so I thought maybe ‘roller bear’? – a pun on ‘polar bear’? I thought I could do some cool designs, with a picture of a tough looking bear on skates etc.
I know it’s not really a traditional violent roller derby name, but it was the first thing that came to mind that felt kinda right!
Thoughts?
I think any name you choose will work as long as you are happy with it. You should check out the website http://www.twoevils.org/rollergirls/
which is a roster of all the registered derby girl names, just to make sure your name is unique and then you can register “roller bear” so no one else can have it.
