Crown Staffordshire

how much is my ironstone worth?
it is genuine hand engraved ironstone.made in Staffordshire. Its says bluebrook at the top and has a crown under that then a seal.what is is worth?
Things are worth what people will pay for them. See what Antique Shops are asking…and offer it for sale on Eba for that. However-an Antique dealer won’t buy it for what they can sell it for though–because they’ll want/need to make some profit–it’s how they earn their living and are able to stay in business..
If you want it appraised–several things contribute to value…Old Ironstone can show wear-craizing, spider cracking or have brown spots…a good soak in Clorox will bring back the whites and get rid of the brown spots even mitigate those spider lines…but then give it a good rinse in vinegar to set the PH to protect the piece. Look in your yellow pages for an appraiser…an antique shop can perhaps recommend an honest one.
