Copenhagen Figure

Two weeks in Scandanvia – what is your advice?
So I have about 16 days while I will be in Europe (Italy) and want to see parts of Scandinavia. So I was thinking of taking an easyjet or ryan air flight to Helsinki and then traveling by train north around the gulf of bothnia and down into sweeden, ending my trip in Copenhagen.
What is your advice? What are some highlights I should see? Do you recommend another route? I figure I can’t see it all in that short of time. I am trying to find a route where I won’t back track. Another option is to fly to Oslo and then circle up through Norway, into sweeden, and end up in Copenhagen.
Advice?
If you do Denmark, Sweden and Norway do them in that order, not the other way round.
I did Sweden before Norway and after the spectacular countryside of Norway Sweden was a disappointment, if I had done it the other way round I would have enjoyed Sweden more.
The Norwegian coast between Trondheim and Stavanger is so spectacular that you want to see as much of it as possible and would not mind a bit of backtracking. (There is no train track running along the coast, but if you just want to go to the coast in one place, Bergen is the best. But Andalsness was beautiful too.)
Have a look at the rail map of Scandinavia, (here is a link to a rail map for all of Europe):
