Copenhagen Brown

Copenhagen Brown
Is new improved Climate Change just a symptom of mixing ecoterrorists, dodgy science and politics.?

We just heard what Gordon Brown said in his Copenhagen speech about ‘acts of god’ like hurricanes, Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, were actually man made due to global warming. BTW Insurance companies are redrafting policies as we speak to ‘acts of AGW’ :)

This is obviously someone who is certifiable or gone mad… has anyone called in a brain doctor to see he’s okay? or is this the influence of dodgy science, hockey stick charts, Al Gore and ecoterrorists?

I think it might be a way to bring the environmentalists under control. For too long now, they have been as a thorn in the developed countries, governments side, and what better than to make it appear that they are being listened to. I can almost see all the eco people bowing down in worship, as the governments pretend to be helping the environment.
If a reduction of damage to the environment was of real concern to the governments, they would be abolishing patenting laws which means a certain elite few, can dictate who makes what, where, when and for how much. One instance of this, is America’s leather and cotton trade. America produces the raw materials, then ships them to countries half way around the world, such as China, where they are converted to clothes and furniture, then surprisingly, shipped back to America. But at least half of what America consumes, is handled in this manner. But America is not alone. Many other countries do similar things. Britain exports millions of tons of butter and cheese to Europe, only to import millions of tons of each in return. I’ll tell you, the people making decisions like these are lunatics. Clever lunatics, but lunatics all the same. How much fuel could be saved if America gave the jobs of making clothes to Americans? How many ships need not travel around the world?
Then there is political red tape. Again, laws designed by greedy mad men. Does Britain really need to import apples from New Zealand? Isn’t there anywhere closer it could get apples from? Like France for instance. Why does Britain get apples from New Zealand? Because some fool decided that it was a good idea in order to strengthen political ties with that country.
Then we have the production of paper. Trees are currently used. 100 years ago, hemp was used. It grows faster than trees, produces more paper per acre, can be recycled at least 7 times (compared to wood paper only recyclable up to 3 times), lasts hundreds of years (wood paper is lucky to last 50 years), does not yellow, or crack and needs no bleaching as wood paper does. Granted, it takes nutrients out of the ground faster than trees, but if we started using our sewerage on hemp production farms, the nutrients would be replaced and our rivers would have an immediate reduction of pollution. Why was hemp made illegal in almost every country in the world? Because a few greedy politicians, discovered trees can make paper, so bought vast quantities of forests in order to make money.
Our governments pretend we cannot revoke laws. Utter rubbish. If our governments wanted to reduce our impact on the world, they would be starting these measures already. But they have no interest in the environment at all. Their interest, is making money.

The timing of this disaster is also very convenient. Didn’t half the worlds governments give tax breaks to people in the last year to help with the financial problem? And haven’t these very same governments got themselves a money deficit? Very convenient is this reason for tax. I’ll be watching to see how much of environment tax does not make it anywhere near the environment.
And they are taking all of us for fools. If we let them, they are right. We would be fools.
