Can little china tea cups make it through a freezer for an hour and a half?

I found a beautiful recipe on marthastewart.com and it had a frozen desert in a tea cup. I have very tiny yet high quality tea cups and was wondering if it should be safe.

also: on the website they had been frozen in the teacup.

That’s OK,but don’t place them close to anything hot while they are frozen
