China Cups

Where can I find info on China backmarks?

I’m helping a friend try and identify some China cups and saucers. There are some stamps on the bottom that don’t have words, only symbols. Is there a website I can go to to identify what companies the stamps represent?

Maybe either get in contact with this person or get his books from the library?
