Brown Mayfair

Does anyone remeber this type of car?

It was quite a large car and It had an enclosed driver and passenger front saloon, with a further dicky seat at the back for 2 more passengers fully exposed. My old dad had one back in the early 50`s but it was not new to him. I have tried to find out what make it could have been. I seem to remember it was a light brown and although I cant be sure the name Mayfair seems to come to mind. I know headscarfs had to be worn or you could say goodby to your hairstyle. Many thanks.
I have gone into wikipedia as several of you sugested and suddenly I recognised my dads old car. It was a Triumph Dolomite Roadster. I remember the grills on the side. I have been told he also had a Triumph Mayfair much later, that`s why I remembered the name.

Actually, there were many auto manufacturers that made cars with rumble seats (or dicky seats as you called it) and it is difficult to know from your description.
