how far in advance is it ok to make cookies?

I want to make peanut butter blossoms, choc chip, and sugar cookies. Is it ok to make them tonight for Christmas day? Also i’m making pudding cups and jello cut outs for the kids is that ok to make now?

They would be fine to make tonight for Christmas day. Cookies will keep at least three or four days if you put them in an airtight container. Just be sure to cool completely before packaging them up.

If you leave the dough in the fridge sometimes it will absorb fridge odors and taste bad. So be careful of leaving the dough in the fridge too long.
